Sydney-born artist Antony Makhlouf has also called New York and Beirut home. Like his living experiences his creativity takes on various forms; photography, illustration and performance. Themes of gender construction and cultural conflicts charge throughout his works. Antony's major artistic influences are Helmut Newton, Rene Gruau, Adam Hughes and Jean-Paul Goude.
Antony's completion of a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters of Design at the UNSW Art and Design, along with a scholarship at the Actor's College of Theatre and Television have served him in selected industries.
